This is Paige again, sorry. I just wanted to clarify that I know the Torah speaks against rape and sexual assault- I just never heard about that from my family, rabbi, synagogue or Hebrew school growing up. And my family didn’t protect me or handle it well. I guess I was more asking why this isn’t something that is more clear. My family rabbi etc growing up also were never clear about Jewish afterlife. I was raised reform, so maybe that’s why? Just interested to hear your thoughts on subject.
