Obligations to Aid Physical and Spiritual Captives

Question: What are our obligations regarding those who remain in danger - both physical and spiritual captives in our generation? Answer: We have a Torah duty to aid both physical and spiritual captives. We must urgently act to free hostages from terrorists and similarly rescue those spiritually lost, regardless of their current religious adherence. This is a fundamental Jewish responsibility; overlooking it, even with excuses like considering them "captured babies," is unacceptable. We must educate and guide all Jews toward Torah observance, as neglecting this duty can lead to divine punishment.
