Hello Rabbi Reuven,
Do you have a shiur and/or advice that outlines exactly how to break up a person's income in order to make teshuva-especially for someone like me? I am still struggling financially and have been out of work due to Covid closures. Was I supposed to be donating from my unemployment benefits? What percentage of a person"s income should go to a) paying off debts b) making financial teshuva and c)!supporting Kiruv? Also-are these percentages on income before or after taxes? And finally- if there is no way anymore to make financial amends directly to someone, is there a prayer that should be said while giving money to your organization?
I'm sorry this was such a long question! Many thanks and G-d bless you. -Diane
