Shalom Rabbi. My name's is Ezra Nassiem. I was born to a Jewish "Muslim" mother. my nother is a Jewish immigrant from Baghdad but she converted to Islam. I was born and raised as a Muslim. I am also married to a Muslim woman.
I never interested in Judaism before because my family never talked about it. Two years ago I watched Yosef Mizrachi's video, I also watched your video on YouTube and I continue to do that until now and it made me become interested in Judaism. I started reading books about the Jewish people and it thrilled my heart. a few months ago I decided to buy tefillin and i learn how to put on tefillin according minhag sephardi. but the problem is, I keep praying five times a day like a Muslim, but every morning I put on tefillin and reciting shema Israel. what should i do rabbi? Is it ok?
