Hi, I watched a clip of Rav Spalter from Chabad quoting an interpretation about the true reason why HaShem tested Adam and Chava in Gan Eden. Essentially he said that HaShem intentionally had in plan for men to “eat” from the Tree of Knowledge in order to make them earn a bigger reward by completing the tikkun of the 6000 years and bringing the Meshiach. But if they had not eaten from the tree, they wouldn’t have the same type of reward in Olam Haba.
I always knew that HaShem commanded Adam and Chava not to eat from the tree, wich in essence it’s a mitzva, and by keeping this only mitzva it would be sufficient to have the same effect of the 6000 years of tikkun.
Did really HaShem wanted us to get in this state from the beginning in order to earn a bigger reward?
Couldn’t we have the result by Adam keeping the first mitzvah? thank you
