We had a reverse osmosis filter installed on our kitchen sink, it is permanently installed and filters all the water, it has a reservoir tank of about 2.5 gallons. Each time the faucet is opened and the pure water comes out, some city water is filtered and enters the reservoir tank. There is no heating or electricity involved. Can we take water from this faucet on Shabbat or is that a Melacha like sorting or similar?
